How to edit the video thumbnail
At MailVideo, you have the option to choose between a static or GIF thumbnail for your videos. Follow the steps below to change the thumbnail:
- Navigate to the video page: Open the video for which you want to change the thumbnail.
- Locate the three dots: In the top section of the video page, you will find three dots symbolizing a menu. Click on these three dots.
- Access the drop-down menu: After clicking the three dots, a drop-down menu will appear.
- Select "Change Thumbnail" option: From the drop-down menu, locate and click on the "Change Thumbnail" button. This will open a dialog box.
- Modify the thumbnail: In the dialog box, you can make adjustments to the thumbnail of your video. You can choose either a static image or a GIF thumbnail, depending on your preference:
- Here you can select either the Gif or picture thumbnail. Simply choose “GIF” or “Image” on the top of the page and then click “select from video”:
- When you have selected the gif or the picture, choosing a new picture or gif from the video works the same way. You are able to select a new thumbnail from the video by dragging the play bar. When you have found the sweet spot, click “Capture” and you are done!
You can of course also upload a custom gif or picture as seen in the edit page here:
